The Infraction System:

• 1 and 2 points means very little unless you get a third during the time those are still active.
  
• 3 points gets you read-only, allowing you to access the main forums but none of the sub/squad forums.
  
• 5 points gets you banned.

You can check your infractions (including descriptions of what they were for and their expiration dates) by clicking on the User CP link in the top left.


FORUM-WIDE RULES

• No NWS images should be directly embedded in the posts unless the entire thread is marked as NWS.
  
• All NWS material (such as hyperlinks) must have NWS tag.
  
• No NWS images in any infractions, reports or reputation comments.
  
• All PMs are work safe regardless of tags used.
  
• Thread spamming is bad.
  
• My mods have the freedom to infract someone for doing something not mentioned in any of these rules such as posting retarded catchphrases. Catchphrases are only used by fags anyway and none of you are fags right?
  
• Posting in a thread with or sending goatse/tubgirl/etc. to someone in a PM without any warning will get you banned and you know this.
  
• No-one gives a shit about bees or bee posts or pictures with bees in them or news stories about bees you fucking dickheads.
  
• I will infract you if you can't spell words or can't be fucked to look up the spelling of something you fucks.
  
• Use of the word "butthurt" will get you infracted if I see it because that word is stupid and I hate it and I'm the boss.
  
• Do not leech images from remote sites. Use the GoonFleet image host or another image hosting service like waffleimages to re-host the image.

THE WAR ROOM

• Content-lacking posts are discouraged. Infactions for such a thing will be conducted at the moderators' discretion.
  
• No content-less page sniping. Page sniping while also proving constructive content to the thread is fine.
  
• TWR is designed for in-game Goonfleet topics and can only be read by accounts with an active Goonfleet character linked to them. Know someone who plays with us and got killed in Iraq? Post it in SGBS. Need some help with figuring out what shitty computer parts your shitty bank account can afford to play this shitty game? Post in SGBS. Got some hilarious in-game political drama, feel free to spread it around between the forums. Got some in-game political drama that isn't really funny at all? Don't post.

SGBS

• SGBS is for being social...maybe that's a bit of stretch for some of you. SGBS is for random shit that you want to talk about or ask or whatever. In-game stuff can bleed into this forum for those avid fans of Goonfleet who do not currently have a character in GF.
  
• In the words of James Decimus, "Latching onto racist catchphrases will not blast you into posting superstardom."

SPYAD

• Spyad is for god-knows-what these days but the mods in there can do pretty much whatever they want. It's work-safe just like everywhere else.

AAD

• The Ask A Director forum is the place to ask specific questions of the directorate or other knowledgeable players. This is our most serious business forum and we moderate it with a heavy hand.
  
• Think before you ask a question, sometimes PMing a director is a better course of action. If you ask a dumb question there's a good chance it will be deleted and you'll be infracted.
  
• Be very careful when responding to questions -- if your reply doesn't contain direct and relevant knowledge of the question being asked, it's probably getting deleted and you will get an infraction.
  
• When the original question has been answered, lock the thread.

As with everything, if you want to ask any questions, raise any issues or dispute any infractions just send Solo Drakban (http://goonfleet.com/member.php?u=7002) a PM. However if you have an issue with an infraction please talk to the mod who issued you with it first to try and resolve the problem as Solo is probably going to just ignore you or infract you again for whining.
